Mohanlal Dayal founded the House of Parle in 1928. Parle-G, launched in 1939 as Parle Gluco, is the cornerstone of the company’s success. The company baked their first biscuit in 1939: Parle Gluco. That humble beginning gave rise to India’s most iconic biscuit, Parle-G. Beyond Parle-G, the company also produces brands like Monaco, KrackJack, Hide & Seek, Melody, Mango Bite, and Kismi. Parle Products introduced Monaco in 1942 as India’s first salted cracker. Further, the company’s confectionery range expanded with Kismi in 1963 and Poppins in 1966.
