KUALA LUMPUR (July 8): Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM) has secured a RM21.13 million contract from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) for the provision of technology infrastructure operations, maintenance and support services.
The information technology solutions provider said the contract covers maintenance and technical support services for JPJ’s information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and networking hardware across more than 170 branches nationwide, including the department’s mobile vehicles.
According to Infomina’s filing with Bursa Malaysia, the contract will run for 36 months from Aug 1, 2026 to July 31, 2029, while any renewal or extension beyond the initial term will be subject to JPJ’s discretion.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings over the duration, the group added.
For its third quarter ended Feb 28, 2026 (3QFY2026), Infomina posted a 7.5% increase in net profit to RM8.76 million from RM8.15 million in the same period a year earlier, driven by stronger contributions from its technology infrastructure operations, maintenance and support services segment.
Quarterly revenue rose 50.43% to RM75.89 million from RM50.45 million, supported by growth in its two core business segments — the design and delivery of technology infrastructure solutions, as well as technology infrastructure operations, maintenance and support services.
Shares of Infomina closed one sen or 0.78% lower at RM1.28 on Wednesday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM769.60 million.
