Harris Dickinson Won’t Play James Bond?

A24

Harris Dickinson (“Babygirl,” “Triangle of Sadness”) has reportedly withdrawn his name from consideration for the role of James Bond, according to scooper Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic podcast.

Sneider claims Dickinson was previously considered a top-tier candidate, ranking within the top four on the studio’s shortlist.

Now though, Sneider claims Dickinson personally contacted Bond producers David Heyman and Amy Pascal this week to remove himself from the running.

Dickinson recently concluded playing John Lennon across four The Beatles movies for “Skyfall” director Sam Mendes and cited exhaustion.

Jacob Elordi, Callum Turner and Dickinson were among the names being rumored for the Bond role for some time now.

Director Denis Villeneuve, Heyman, and Pascal recently began notifying actors who have advanced to the next round of auditions with next tests expected to take place in August.
