Public markets outperform private markets in Q2
The AEX had a very strong quarter, led by a share price surge in ASML, thanks to buoyant demand for semiconductors. Elsewhere, private markets told a different story: Deal activity remained sluggish across VC and PE, with only AI-related firms able to transact. One bright spot, however, was PE fundraising, which Dutch pension reform is helping push to record levels.
