Groundfloor Adds Access To Private Credit To Investment Platform

Groundfloor, a private securities investment platform that began by focusing on real estate offerings, has added private credit as an option for investors.

According to a release, Groundfloor is listing a consumer credit option that offers a 10% annual return with quarterly distributions over 45 months. The offering is designed to provide consistent income and risk management by reducing exposure to a single borrower.

Brian Dally, CEO and co-founder of Groundfloor, says investors are looking beyond stocks and bonds, with some interested in income-producing assets. The consumer credit portfolio is an effort to provide access to institutional-grade investors for individual 9investors.

Groundfloor states that its first private credit offering reached capacity in just 2 weeks.

Groundfloor said the private credit offering is part of a broader strategy to expand access to private-market investments, including real estate-backed lending, fixed-income alternatives, and private credit strategies.

Since its launch, Groundfloor has reported over $2.2 billion in investments.
