Metrics, Australia’s largest private credit group eyes asset-backed finance fund launch


Australia’s largest private credit group, Metrics Credit Partners, is expanding into asset-backed finance and is expected to launch a fund secured against consumer loans in the second half of this year, as it seeks to reset its growth following months of controversy.

Metrics, which has more than $30 billion in funds under management and counts Pinnacle as a major investor, acquired consumer lending groups Taurus Financial Group and BC Investment Group last year.
