Nestle India Q1 Results FY27: Consolidated EBITDA rose 39.8% YoY. EBITDA exceeded the estimate of Rs 1,354 crore by 13.6%.

Nestle India Q1 Results FY27: The company reported a 47.7% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 975 crore, compared with Rs 660 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The profit also surpassed the Street estimate of Rs 837 crore by 16.5%.

Consolidated revenue increased 25.2% YoY to Rs 6,378 crore from Rs 5,096 crore a year ago. The topline was also higher than the estimated Rs 6,063 crore by 5.2%.

Consolidated EBITDA rose 39.8% YoY to Rs 1,538 crore, up from Rs 1,100 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA exceeded the estimate of Rs 1,354 crore by 13.6%.

The consolidated EBITDA margin expanded 250 basis points (bps) to 24.1% from 21.6% a year earlier. The margin was also 180 bps higher than the estimated 22.3%.

Delivered its 20th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, supported by higher coffee penetration, premiumisation, stronger brand investments, and expanding distribution.

Expanded its premium retail presence across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with a new pavilion launch in Bengaluru enhancing consumer reach.

-Prepared Dishes & Cooking Aids:

Reported strong double-digit growth, driven by urban demand, rural expansion, and product innovations, resulting in market share and penetration gains.

-Milk Products & Nutrition:

Registered broad-based growth, supported by healthy volumes, digital activations, portfolio refinement, and strong execution.

Continued strong double-digit growth, aided by portfolio expansion, wider distribution, and new launches including FELIX Gravy Lover and PRO PLAN Cat.

-Channel Performance Highlights

Continued strong growth, with Quick Commerce emerging as a key growth driver.

Performance was supported by better product availability, platform-specific pack innovations, targeted media investments, and strong festive demand.

Delivered double-digit growth across key categories, driven by sharper in-store execution, consumer activations, enhanced visibility, and continued store network expansion.

Reported strong customer acquisition, aided by premiumization and innovation.

Key launches included NESCAFÉ® Duo Gusto (hot & cold), low- and zero-sugar beverages, MAGGI® Coconut Milk Powder for coastal cuisines, and expanded café & bakery applications for MILKMAID®.
  • Strengthened its global presence with new MAGGI® noodle variants in Canada, larger sauce packs for the HoReCa segment, and an expanded MAGGI portfolio in Europe.
  • Sunrise exports expanded to Lebanon after successful launches in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Nestlé India also received 4-Star Export House status, recognizing its growing contribution to exports and the Make in India initiative.

  • Uneven monsoon conditions linked to El Niño pose a risk to the upcoming crop.
  • Sugar and cocoa prices continue to remain under pressure.
