Tottenham news: What are Spurs looking for in the transfer market?

BBC Sport football reporter Nizaar Kinsella has been answering some of your latest Tottenham transfer window questions.

Guy asked: What is going on with Spurs? They bought loads of players at the start but haven’t signed any since?

Nizaar answered: Last time I was in and around the Tottenham camp in Australia, Roberto De Zerbi told us he was planning a surprise “bomba” in attack.

Since then, nothing has crossed my path to suggest otherwise, but the forward market is a little stunted, with clubs needing to sign replacements before allowing players to leave.

I still think there is a very good chance Spurs sign Savinho from Manchester City, but Enzo Maresca is keen to add attacking talent himself before sanctioning any move.

There are also a host of other names floating around, including Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, but that second “bomba” could well arrive on deadline day, with many clubs waiting for more movement in the forward market. I think after two attacking signings, Spurs will be then done and content with their business.
