BNY partners with Securitize to launch tokenized CLO fund – Ledger Insights


Securitize has launched a tokenized fund dedicated to AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), marking a significant collaboration with BNY, the world’s largest custodian.

BNY will serve as custodian for the Securitize Tokenized AAA CLO Fund’s (STAC) underlying assets, leveraging its established capabilities in the digital assets ecosystem. The fund will be sub-advised by BNY Investments, which oversees $2.1 trillion in assets.

The launch comes with a planned $100 million anchor allocation from Grove, a credit infrastructure protocol within the decentralized Sky ecosystem. Grove manages tokenized credit for Sky (formerly MakerDAO) and its $9 billion stablecoin USDS. The allocation is pending governance approval.
