Naftaly Gluskin joins Vine Ventures as Principal

Vine Ventures has announced the appointment of Naftaly Gluskin as Principal. Gluskin is joining Vine following his time as an Investor at Essentia VC, where he led investments and worked closely with portfolio companies including Classiq, Ramon.Space, and Seemplicity.

Before transitioning into venture capital, Gluskin gained experience in strategy, business development, and operations through roles at Philips Israel, the Aviram Award Competition, and Summit-AI.

Gluskin served in the IDF’s elite unit Duvdevan. Beyond his investing work, Gluskin is active in strengthening Israel’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He co-founded the 28 Community, a private network connecting elite combat-unit veterans across Israel’s technology industry, whose members have collectively raised tens of millions of dollars with several companies achieving successful exits. He also co-founded and serves as Vice-Chairman of the VC Club, a nonprofit organization operating across six university campuses to develop the next generation of investors and entrepreneurs. Gluskin is an honors graduate of Reichman University, where he studied Business and Entrepreneurship with a major in Finance.

Gluskin’s appointment at Vine follows those of Adam Valkin and Idan Tendler. Valkin, previously a Managing Director at General Catalyst, joined as Partner and leads the firm’s investment activities in New York and Boston alongside investments in Israel. Tendler, formerly a Senior Vice President at Palo Alto Networks, co-founder of Bridgecrew, acquired by Palo Alto Networks in 2021, and co-founder of Fortscale, acquired by RSA Security, focuses on investments in cybersecurity and infrastructure.

Vine Ventures operates from New York, Tel Aviv, and San Francisco. Vine has raised two funds to date: an initial fund of $53 million in 2020 and a second fund of $140 million in 2022. The firm’s investments include Eon, Hippo (which went public in 2021), MANTL (acquired by Alkami), Wonderful, Essor, Remepy, Qodo, Parallel Learning, and more.
