KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a RM39.5mn contract from WCT Construction to undertake earthworks, bored piling and substructure works for a commercial development in Kuala Lumpur.

Petra Energy Bhd‘s wholly owned subsidiary, Petra Marine, is disposing of two marine vessels for a total of RM61.3mn to monetise non-performing assets, with the proceeds earmarked for working capital.

Sunway Healthcare Holdings Bhd is acquiring 9.918 acres of freehold land in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri for RM45.4mn to support the development of its planned 410-bed tertiary hospital in Johor, strengthening its expansion into the southern healthcare market.

Semico Capital Bhd is acquiring a 49% stake in a joint venture to establish and operate a family entertainment outlet at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, broadening its revenue streams through its arcade and amusement business.

JcbNext Bhd has reduced its stake in Taiwan-listed 104 Corp from 7.52% to 4.25% through share disposals worth RM29.4mn, realising an estimated RM2.5mn net gain.

Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has proposed a RM250.0mn share capital reduction to offset accumulated losses as part of a comprehensive RM344.0mn debt restructuring plan.

Land & General Bhd has unveiled Sri Bestari International School’s Future Pathways Strategy, supported by partnerships with German Educare and STEM4ALL.

Midea Group has partnered with 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd to distribute a range of energy-efficient home appliances across more than 3,100 outlets nationwide from August.

Keyfield International Bhd is contesting a US$2.94mn (RM12.2mn) lawsuit filed by Dubai-based shipbroker MVS Marine Services over alleged unpaid brokerage commissions relating to the sale of Keyfield Compassion.

Heitech Padu Bhd has redesignated executive director Datuk Sandraruben Neelamagham as deputy chairman with immediate effect, amid previously reported allegations linking him to the NexG dispute, which remain unproven.

Tasco Bhd‘s 1QFY27 net profit fell 7.2% YoY to RM8.5mn despite a 10.2% increase in revenue, as higher cost of sales and tax expenses offset stronger international logistics revenue.

Atrium Real Estate Investment Trust reported 2QFY26 NPI rising RM12.5mn (+14% YoY) on a 13.6% increase in gross revenue, driven by maiden rental contributions from Atrium Shah Alam 5, tenancy transition income from ASA3 and rental rate step-ups across existing leases.

Chin Teck Plantations Bhd‘s 3QFY26 net profit declined 44.0% YoY to RM19.4mn as lower FFB, CPO and PK sales volumes, together with weaker associate and joint venture contributions, more than offset higher selling prices.

AME Real Estate Investment Trust‘s 1QFY27 NPI rose 19.6% YoY to RM15.2mn, driven by contributions from four newly acquired properties and positive rental reversions, with distributable income increasing 10.3% YoY while maintaining a 100% portfolio occupancy rate.

Harn Len Corporation Bhd’s 4QFY26 net profit plunged 96.2% YoY to RM0.8mn despite flat revenue, mainly due to lower other income, higher tax expenses and the absence of a one-off gain from investment property disposal recorded a year ago.
