Investec boosts European direct lending team

Investec Bank has promoted Greg Betz to head of direct lending, while Conor McMahon and Nicole Goodwin have been appointed co-heads of UK origination.

The international bank and wealth manager stated that the appointments have been made as it looks to build out its European direct lending platform as private credit enters a more “exacting phase”, with borrowers and investors placing greater emphasis on trusted relationships.
