Quant MF reshuffles fund management across 27 schemes


Quant Mutual Fund has reassigned fund management responsibilities for its 27 schemes. The changes follow the resignation of Vasav Sahgal as Fund Manager – Equity and Director of Quant Money Managers, effective January 31.

The fund house notified unitholders through a notice cum addendum.

The new fund management structure took effect on February 3.

Key appointments:

Lokesh Garg: Appointed as Fund Manager – Equity, effective February 3, 2025.

Sameer Kate: Along with his role as Fund Manager – Equity, he has been assigned the role of Chief Dealer – Equity, effective February 3, 2025.


Varun Pattani: Previously Fund Manager – Commodities & Chief Dealer – Equity, now Fund Manager – Equity, effective February 3, 2025.

Ayusha Kumbhat: Promoted from Research Analyst to Fund Manager – Equity, effective February 3, 2025.

Harshvardhan Bharatia: In addition to his role as Dealer – Debt, he is now Fund Manager – Debt, effective February 3, 2025.

All other terms and conditions of the Scheme Information Document (SID), Statement of Additional Information (SAI), and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) remain unchanged, the fund house mentioned.

In a separate development, DSP Mutual Fund has changed the fundamental attributes of its DSP Global Allocation Fund of Fund. The scheme has been renamed DSP Income Plus Arbitrage Fund of Fund, according to Value Research note.

The fund will now focus on generating income by investing in units of debt-oriented schemes and arbitrage schemes. Under the revised asset allocation, it will invest 95-100% of its assets in these categories.

The scheme will now be managed by Kaivalya Nadkarni (arbitrage) and Shantanu Godambe (debt).
