Ampega Asset Management has announced the formation of a new equities and multi-asset strategies team within its liquid assets division.
Heading this new team is Daniel Happ, who recently joined the company from Zurich Group Germany, where he served as an investment manager. Happ brings with him over six years of experience, including previous tenure at Ampega as an investment strategist.
In his new role, Happ will lead a six-person team responsible for portfolio management of both intra- and external mandates, mutual funds, and asset class research. His appointment underscores Ampega’s commitment to enhancing its capabilities in equities and multi-asset strategies.
The liquid assets division, overseen by Martin Jaron, encompasses the newly formed team along with two existing teams: the fixed income team led by Elena Curtillet and the trading/ordering desk team led by Carsten Hagedorn.
Ampega Asset Management is part of the Talanx Group, a prominent German finance group headquartered in Hanover.
