Goldman Sachs AM launches active equity ETF range

Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) has followed up its entry into the European active ETF market with the launch of a range of active equity ETFs.

The London and Frankfurt-listed Goldman Sachs Alpha Enhanced US Equity Active UCITS ETF is the first of five funds to be launched in the range.

While the ETF offers access to US equities, GSAM plans to launch global, European, Japanese, and emerging markets equities propositions for the range.

The fund will charge a total expense ratio of 0.20%.

It follows GSAM’s launch of two high-yield bond active ETFs in February.

Hilary Lopez, head of the EMEA third party wealth business at GSAM, said: “Clients are increasingly looking for leading active capabilities, delivered with the control and convenience of ETFs.

“Following the launch of our core active fixed income building blocks, we are leveraging our proven Quantitative Investment Strategies to expand the range into equity.

“We aim to offer transparency and flexibility while helping investors navigate turbulence and changing market dynamics.”
