This mighty monster is the evil equivalent to Mothra, one of Godzilla’s most important allies.
Super7 has now announced two new figures inspired by a classic Godzilla movie, which Game Rant can exclusively reveal. One of the collectibles is modeled after the iconic kaiju Mothra, which has been featured in over 20 films since the early ’60s, having most recently appeared in the 2024 Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. The other figure is based on Battra, a dark divine moth kaiju originally created by Kazuki Omori and designed by Minoru Yoshida in the early ’90s. Super7 is also releasing Godzilla and Mechagodzilla plushes.
Super7’s Battra Figure
The Battra figure stands 2.5″ tall and stretches 6″ long, with a wingspan of 12.25″. Super7 says that its latest rendition of Godzilla‘s famous enemy is intricately sculpted and boasts a premium coat of paint, with its overall design drawing from Toho’s 1992 film Godzilla vs. Mothra. As is the case with most Toho ULTIMATES figures, the Battra collectible has some interchangeable extremities in the form of a swappable head and legs, allowing for a lot of flexibility in how collectors choose to present it. A flight stand is also part of the package, with the product itself being priced at $85.
Super7’s Mothra figure
Keeping in line with Godzilla lore, the Mothra figure is roughly the same size as its Battra counterpart, measuring 2″ tall and 5″ long, with a 12.3″ wingspan. Its design is also based on the 1992 Godzilla vs. Mothra, boasting an authentic paint job and sculpting details. The figure ships with a unique accessory in the form of a briefcase containing the Shobijin Twins, two tiny fairies originally created for Toho’s 1961 classic Mothra. Three sets of interchangeable legs are also included, together with a minimalist flight stand. Like the Battra collectible, the Super7 Mothra figure is priced at $85.
The Battra and Mothra figures can be ordered directly from Super7. These new additions to the Toho ULTIMATES line arrive mere weeks after the toy manufacturer launched a cute tri-pack of Godzilla (’89), Minus One, and the 90s MechaGodzilla. That bundle, which is part of Super7’s FUN! FUN! lineup, is currently retailing for $75.
