Hello Kitty and Other Kawaii Sanrio Mascots Get New Nanoblock Collectors Kits Worldwide
BigBadToyStore is based in Wisconsin, USA but ships worldwide, currently through Air Mail, Priority Mail, DHL and FedEx. It previews the upcoming Sanrio x Nanoblocks collection as ranging between 140 and 190 assembly pieces, all with a difficulty rating of 2. Hello Kitty’s version is the shortest, at 1.89 inches tall when assembled, compared to My Melody, which stands at around 2.67 inches.
Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America distributes Nanoblocks in North America, having previously released sets of Hello Kitty in her trademark blue overalls and Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin playing in the grass. Bandai in Japan is also an active producer of new merchandise in collaboration with Sanrio, such as the Sanrio Characters Wafer 7, combining tarot-esque cards with chocolate-flavored wafers in a new collectible release. Hello Kitty Nanoblocks follows Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s recent release, whose sets include Yami Yugi, Kaiba and Dark Magician. Yu-Gi-Oh! and Sanrio’s characters have also been attracting attention in the McDonald’s Happy Meal toys crossover, which arrived in the U.S. on Aug. 20, 2024.
