Toy Fair isn’t the only toy-centric event retailers are chirping about this weekend. At this year’s fair, Bandai Namco announced its adorably addictive Tamagotchis are hopping off the screen and hitting the road with brand-new collectibles, fan events, and a U.S. national tour.
During the tour, Tamagotchi will unleash their colorful, 16-bit chaos on major cities across the U.S. Kids and kidults will step into a digital dream world filled with interactive activities, surprises, and adventures featuring Bandai Namco’s iconic toys. The tour will kick off this summer, and official dates will be available on Tamagotchi’s Instagram as the season continues.

There’s no better way to celebrate the tour than with a special event! On Mar. 29-30, fans can visit American Dream in New Jersey to participate in exciting springtime activities alongside beloved Tamagotchi characters. From mall-wide scavenger hunts to exclusive Tamagotchi treats and photo-ops, kids can get up close and personal with their favorite pets — no keychain required.

At Toy Fair, Bandai Namco also unveiled new Tamagotchi products dripping with aughts nostalgia. The Tamagotchi Collectible series transforms the lovable pets into charming figurines, complete with a device case and stickers. The line’s first launch, “Poop Time,” is available now for $6.99, with plenty more digital darlings on the way.
