Inspired by Mumbai’s art deco cinema halls, the Rivoli Cabinet features a graphic façade with a geometric inlay design that feels both vintage and modern. The front panels are an arrangement of angular and curved shapes, creating a visual rhythm. The milk and coffee hues, with the textured surface, give it a mosaic-like quality. Handmade in India with brass and semi-precious inserts, the piece prioritises both form and function. “I grew up in an art deco house and I’m very partial to the design movement. We have been working with this style for the last two decades,” Goyal adds.
Namban Wallpaper From De Gournay

Drawing inspiration from the intricate artistry of Imperial Japan, the Namban wallpaper presents an abstract seascape that reflects the Asian nation’s early trade encounters with Europe. Rendered in three-dimensional gold leaf, the surface is carefully tarnished and burnished to evoke the soft glow of light piercing through clouds and illuminating the waves. A flock of cranes—a recurring art deco motif—animates the scene. The design nods to Swiss French artist Jean Dunand, echoing his signature balance of fluid curves and bold linear elements in a painterly composition.
