Valu announces 1st EGP 1B issuance under bond securitization program

Arab Finance: U Consumer Finance (Valu) has launched the first issuance under its EGP 1 billion bond program, comprising two tranches with maturities of 13 months and 36 months, according to a bourse disclosure.

The issuance includes EGP 460 million in Tranche A, consisting of tradable, non-convertible, and non-callable bonds with a nominal value of EGP 100 per bond. It carries a fixed annual coupon of 20.075%, calculated from the day following the close of the subscription period.

The coupon payment will be made quarterly, with the first payment scheduled four months after the subscription closes.  

Meanwhile, Tranche B amounts to EGP 540 million and comprises tradable, non-convertible, and non-callable bonds with a 36-month maturity and a nominal value of EGP 100 per bond.

It offers a floating annual return linked to the average Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) corridor rate, plus a 1% margin, calculated from the day following the subscription closing date.

In December 2025, Valu closed its 20th securitized bond issuance at an amount of EGP 1.1 billion.
