Tipperary church posts social media plea for return of missing parking tokens

Are you a secret hoarder? Do you possess a clandestine stash of exit tokens for the parking barriers at St Mary of the Rosary? Are you a fundamentally decent person at heart with a daily desire to help your fellow car parkers?

Whoever is the good humoured person responsible for social media in Nenagh parish has put out a call on Facebook today for the return of missing parking tokens for the St Mary of the Rosary Church car park. 

The parking lot on the grounds of the church utilises a barriered entrance which requires tokens to enter and exit, it now seems that many of these have gone missing.

“If you answered Yes to any of these questions, especially the second one, please return your secret stash of tokens to the parish as soon as you can. But you might be a bit mortified to surrender your stash…you don’t need to be! So you could always…

• Secure them in an envelope, put the envelope in Parish Office letterbox and run away in a hurry
• Post them anonymously to a priest
• Hand them over to our friendly Parish Office staff who absolutely won’t judge you
