dtcpay adopts Bloomberg’s B-PIPE to support treasury FX spot trading

Singapore headquartered payment company dtcpay has adopted Bloomberg’s flagship real time market data feed, B-PIPE.

B-PIPE provides dtcpay with access to high-quality FX data to support its treasury FX spot trading, enabling transparent pricing and enhanced cost management as the company manages FX exposures arising from multi currency payment flows.

As part of the adoption, Bloomberg’s trusted FX data supports the firm’s treasury team in independently verifying counterparty pricing, supporting informed execution decisions, and strengthening internal management around FX valuation.

In addition, dtcpay utilizes the Bloomberg Terminal, including ASKB, the powerful new conversational AI interface that is redefining how financial professionals interact with market and risk data and content. ASKB empowers dtcpay’s treasury and risk teams to use everyday language to quickly surface relevant economic data, central bank developments, and market insights. In keeping with Bloomberg’s Responsible AI principles, responses in ASKB contain transparent attribution to the trusted source documents in which answers are grounded, as well as the underlying Bloomberg Query Language (BQL) code for FX data analysis.

“Managing foreign exchange exposure efficiently is critical for payment companies operating across multiple currencies,” said Candice Zhang, CEO of dtcpay Hong Kong. “By utilizing Bloomberg’s real time FX data and analytics, we gain greater transparency into market pricing and improved control over our trading costs, supporting more effective treasury management.”

“As payment companies scale across markets and currencies, access to real-time, trusted FX data is essential to managing increasingly complex exposures with greater transparency and control,” said Tania Badran, Head of Enterprise Data Sales, South APAC at Bloomberg. “We’re pleased to support dtcpay with real-time FX data through B-PIPE as the company strengthens its management of FX exposures and costs.”

B-PIPE delivers consolidated and normalized real-time streaming market data, pricing, event data and analytics to service and automate the full spectrum of front-office workflows including trading, pricing, risk and portfolio management, and research.
